Prof. Dr. İsmail Meral Gözyaşları arasında toprağa verildi

1969 yılında Van’da doğan Prof. Dr. İsmail Meral, 1985 yılında Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi’nde başlamış olduğu lisans eğitimini 1990 yılında Fakülte birincisi olarak tamamladı. 1991 yılında Yükseköğretim Kurulu tarafından verilen Eğitim Bursunu kazanarak, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nin Iowa State Üniversitesi’nde başlamış olduğu doktora eğitimini 1996 yılında dereceyle bitirdi. 1996 yılında Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesinde Yardımcı Doçent, 1998 yılında Doçent, 2004 yılında ise Profesör oldu. Halen Bezmialem Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Fizyoloji Anabilim Dalında Profesör olarak görevine devam etmektedir.
